During the quarantine, online educational work is actively carried out with 6th year students in the discipline of Physical Therapy for Oncosurgical Diseases and 5th year students in the discipline of Examination Methods in Physical Therapy.
For the convenience of information exchange, the site of distance learning LSUPC has been developed and filled with information.
Master students actively prepare presentations on selected topics about clinical manifestations of tumors, methods of treatment and complications from them. Modern approaches to physical therapy, situational tasks, features of selection of rehabilitation means according to the revealed motor or functional disturbances are discussed.
The educational disciplines were developed and improved by the associate professor of the PT and OT department of LSUPC, Olha Bas within the framework of the project «Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine» (REHAB) No. 598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP of the Erasmus+ programe that is financed by European Union.
For in-depth study, educational literature was purchased for the cathedral library, including the book “Cancer rehabilitation”, which students can use in free access.
